This week is the Just Between Friends consignment sale at the fair grounds. I went with Kim and her kids on Tuesday. What a waste of time. It was very over priced. HOWEVER, the fairgrounds has installed a beautiful pool and waterfall. What a great photo opp. Unfortunately, Ethan was far more interested in looking at the waterfall instead of the camera. But you get the idea. Ethan has been making some funny face where he sucks his bottom lip in, so he looks as though he has no lip. Strange. He also makes non-stop drool and bubbles, as you can see in his photos.

Jenks Aquarium
We went to the aquarium this past weekend. How fun! The shark tunnel is pretty cool - but it's a little scary to think that if the tank broke, we'd be surrounded by sharks. Ethan totally loved the fish. He would pick one and follow it around the tank. It was great! We pet the sting rays. It took me forever to do it- it freaked me out. But after about 15 attempts, I barely touched it. Then I decided it wasn't so bad and kept doing it - but only their side. Jeff thought it was great to let the whole thing glide on his hand. Nasty. Jeff pet a shark, but Ethan woke up so I couldn't do it. One of the sting rays liked me and kept coming back for more.
Some of the fish were just down right freaky looking. This one doesn't even look real - I wonder if his mom looked at him when he was born and thought he was cute???

Feed Me
Ethan is now enjoying the pleasures (and displeasures) of food. I'm sure that he doesn't realize it yet, because it's just nasty rice cereal but he loves it. Mostly he loves to make a mess with it. But he is happy to eat it! He's five months old now and just as cute as can be. We love you Ethan!
Last Checkup (08/07/08)
